The pressure necessary to move a tooth up to 7mm may be delivered by using a series of micro screws. Treatment typically involves a 4mm screw and (when the threads run out) a longer replacement screw to ensure continued treatment. Replacement screws are also necessary when a screw is damaged. All screws (2mm, 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm in length) are the same diameter and made to fit into a standard housing.
