Full-Breath Solution ®
The Full Breath Solution® Appliance with the Adjustable Wire Tail is designed to gently keep the mouth slightly open and the air passage free, providing just the right amount of tongue restriction and eliminating any potential jaw pain or TMJ problems.
It has enjoyed phenomenal success -- attaining a 72% drop in the Apnea Hypopnea Index (measuring the number of times per hour that the tongue blocks the airway for at least 10 seconds). The unique advantage of this appliance is that the Wire Tail (the Posterior Tongue Restrainer) can be easily adjusted to depress the tongue, thereby maintaining an open airway during all stages of sleep.
The precise positioning of the PTR for superior results is patient-specific and can be determined quickly. Success with this appliance can be easily achieved by following the protocol included in provided Clinical Instructions.
Construction Bite
2 mm vertical bite should be provided. If flat plane is requested and no bite is provided SML can open to make the device but cannot guarantee the occlusion.
