Treatment Partial To Control Vertical Dimension

Many partially edentulous patients have a decreased vertical dimension. At best, this often makes it difficult to properly restore them. At worst, it can lead to a serious TMJ problem. A treatment partial is one of the best tools available to help you re-establish an acceptable vertical. This overlay partial may be readily altered to increase or decrease the height of occlusion until clinical signs and subjective symptoms are eliminated and you feel comfortable restoring the patient at the newly established vertical.
